全村耕地约1250亩。村委会过去没有能稳定增收的企业，集体经济来源较为单薄。[1]

2026年，良塘村与麻北村联合建设282千瓦光伏项目，据镇政府报道，建成后两村每年各增收5万元。[2]

2021年9月，良塘村以柑橘产业入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
