水边社区是广东省英德市水边镇下辖的社区，位于水边镇墟中心，由原水边村委会、六九村委会和水边居委会合并而成。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

辖地在水边河畔，故称水边。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网（年份未注明），社区下有26个自然村、2个居民小组，土地16.05平方公里，山林约17842亩，耕地约3399亩；6299名居民里，务农的5021人，城镇居民1259人。同页记2012年农民人均收入6950元。[2]

近年的建设[edit]

2022年，流寨村村委会与水边社区居委会的新办公大楼即将竣工。[3]

此后两地的党群服务中心一同迁入新址，几处场所合用，设有办事大厅、党员活动室、妇女儿童之家等。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予水边社区「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
