前进村是广东省清远市英德市波罗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东部，距镇政府约22公里，与乳源瑶族自治县的大布镇交界。[1][5]

村名的含义是沿着社会主义道路前进。建国前这里俗称坪址，1958年称坪址大队，1983年改设前进乡。[2][3]

沿革[edit]

1960年3月，前进等11个大队从大湾人民公社析出，设立波罗人民公社。[4]

1983年设前进乡，1986年为村委会，1990年一度称管理区，1998年10月重新设为村委会。[3]

地理[edit]

与大布镇交界处有一条海拔超过1000米、长约15公里的大峡谷。[5]

产业与规划[edit]

2026年5月20日，镇人大代表到前进村的茶园开展英德红茶产业调研。茶园负责人反映，茶叶品质尚可，但产量不高，销售渠道单一，想扩大种植又缺资金。[6]

规划以南岭国家森林公园为依托，建设前进社区门户，把一处九十平方米的旧村委闲置场地改为农产品收购展销点。到2030年，村集体经济年收入目标为60万元以上。[7]
