五星村是三江镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区，与金坑村、联红村、三江社区等村相邻。[1]村委会以五星红旗上的五星为名，寓意事业灿烂发展。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1963年2月，新城与城东两个大队组成了五星大队。[2]1975年8月起，此大队隶属三江镇；1983年9月又回到三江公社。[2]

1983年底，这里改设为五星乡；1987年5月，乡级建制取消，改为五星村委会。[2]1989年设五星管理区，1999年4月再定名为五星村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

「2023年广东省卫生村」称号于2024年3月授予五星村。[1]
