石潭镇是广东省清远市清新区北部的建制镇，地处英德、清新、阳山三地交界处。镇区距清新城区约60公里，107国道与省道114线穿境而过。全镇下辖2个社区、20个行政村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

石潭镇在清新区北部，东面与英德市的九龙、明迳两镇相邻，南面和西面接浸潭镇，北面与阳山县的杜步、七拱两镇相连。全镇面积299.3平方千米。[1][2]

博雅地名网的概况页（未注明年份）记述，镇内石灰石、方解石和铝矾土储量较大，林地面积广，并建有5座水电站，总装机容量1500千瓦。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名原作「白石潭」，因驻地旁有一处白石潭而得名，新中国成立后逐渐简称石潭。[1] 1986年12月撤区设镇，初隶清远县；1988年清远建市后改属清郊区；1992年清郊区撤销，设清新县；2012年11月，清新县改设为清新区。[1]

2003年9月，原白湾镇并入石潭镇，今白湾社区与白湾村即由此而来。[4]

人口[edit]

第七次全国人口普查结果显示，石潭镇人口为3.49万人，在清新区各镇中排第7位，该结果于2021年5月公布。[1]

经济[edit]

据镇政府2022年工作总结，当年本级财政收入约8203.91万元；农业总产值为104409万元，比上年增长1.8%。[3]

概况页记述，镇内先后引进十多家水泥、化工企业，以水泥带动工业发展。[2] 镇里还引导组建了镇级强村公司「清远市清新区兴村旺业农业发展有限公司」，采取跨村联营的办法带动村集体增收；年收入超过15万元的村（社区）由2024年的3个增至2025年的22个。[5]

特产有蒲坑茶、腐竹和鼓油鸡，此外木耳、生姜、苦丁茶等也有出产。[2] 据2022年工作总结，蒲坑茶小作坊聚集区达到省级食品安全示范区的标准，是清新区此类示范创建中的第一例。[3]

石潭镇编制了全域土地综合整治实施方案，镇域总面积约30205公顷，整治区域涉及中和、南安、大围、中所、联滘、南楼、建民、大坑、雷坑、西安、东安、街道社区和东联等13个村居。[10]

2026年初，镇里开展村庄清洁行动，区镇力量拼成了13个小组，把大洛、东联等培育典型村的所有村组都包括进去。[6]

民俗方面，石潭镇有禾楼歌。[1] 石潭镇获得「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」称号，命名时间为2024年3月。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

陈可钰故居位于石潭镇新民街，占地约500平方米，由景瑗图书馆、藏书阁与家属住所三部分组成。其始建年份，百度百科作民国二十一年（1932年），博雅地名网作1933年。[7][8] 1995年，清新县对陈可钰将军纪念馆及纪念碑作出第一批县级文保单位的认定；2002年，广东省政府把故居定为省级文物保护单位。[7]

著名人物[edit]

陈可钰（1882年—1944年），出生于石潭镇雷坑田心村，字景瑗，早年毕业于广东将弁学堂，1926年出任国民革命军第四军副军长。[1][9] 1944年，他在景瑗图书馆病逝。[7]
