历史沿革[edit]
村名取自驻地石潭村。[1] 1958年建大队，当时归入西湖，成为西湖大队的一部分；1983年12月转并大凹乡；到1987年1月分出，设石潭村民委员会，延续到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
石潭村是2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布名单），2024年11月获广州市充分就业社区（村）认定。[1]
