黄岗村位于龙颈镇东北部。村由黄湴塱、园岗两个片区合并而成，村名即取自两地[1]。

2019年9月，黄岗村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。省爱卫会于2023年5月公布，高塱村、三八圩村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

黄岗早在1953年即设乡，称黄岗乡；1958年划为黄岗大队，1983年仍为乡。1986年改为村委会，1989年纳入管理区，1999年复为村委会。2004年5月石坎镇撤销后，本村归龙颈镇[1]。
