石马村位于龙颈镇西南部。村境内有一座小岭形似马头，称马头岭，岭上多石，村名由此而来[1]。

省爱卫会于2023年5月公布，村内的兵一村、洞心村、旧炭厂村、上山村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1952年这里曾叫社塘乡；1958年设石马大队，1983年改建为石马乡。1986年转为村委会，1989年划入管理区，1999年又恢复村委会。2004年5月石马镇撤销，本村并入龙颈镇[1]。
