村辖区面积约9.5平方千米，耕地面积6345亩，全村有32个自然村，党员116人。常住人口为8286人（统计年份未注）。大部分耕地为基本保护农田，已报上级进行约1000亩农田低改。[1]

交通与设施[edit]

村内有清远港，为清远规模最大的港口。广清高速、人民西路，以及城西大道扩宽工程，都从村中穿过。[1]

村内几条主干道已全面硬底化，各村小组正在铺设自来水，有线电视已接到每个自然村。村内已设有多个公交站点，为公交车进村通行已做好准备。[1]

集体经济[edit]

村委会集体收入由2000年的3.5万元增至2011年的15万元。村委会在经济困难的条件下，多方筹集资金增加教育投入。[1]
