塘村位于阳西县织篢镇，历史上曾长期隶属蒲牌乡与蒲牌镇，2003年10月改属织篢镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

塘村在1949年属阳江县第七区蒲牌乡，1953年划入第十六区，1956年归上洋区蒲牌乡管。1958年下半年，村子并入大跃进人民公社，不久又回归织篢人民公社。1959年此地称集群生产大队；之后数年隶属织篢区蒲牌人民公社、织篢人民公社与蒲牌人民公社。1967年设集群革命委员会，1980年改为管委会。1983年设塘村乡，1987年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1993年归蒲牌镇，1999年恢复村委会，2003年改属织篢镇。[2]

荣誉[edit]

塘村获广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位，时间为2022年1月。[1]
