西湖社区位于织篢镇镇中心区，因辖区内有西湖公园而得名，1999年11月设立居委会。[1]

辖区有西湖公园，社区便以公园命名。[2]西湖公园于1999年3月动工，是阳西县建县以来的首个人民公园，2025年12月完成升级改造。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年11月，西湖居委会宣告成立，此名延续至今。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2025年11月，社区入选「广东省未来社区（完整社区）建设试点」名单。[1]
