金村是东城镇下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初金村隶属阳江县三区，驻合山乡。1958年起它归那石公社，名为金村大队；1961年又并入北惯公社。[1][2]

1988年阳江改设地级市后，金村成为阳东区北惯镇下的金村管理区。1989年3月，金村脱离北惯镇，改由东城镇管理。1991年阳东设县，仍由东城镇所辖。1999年村委会换届选举后，管理区正式称为阳东县东城镇金村村委会。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2022年1月，省乡村振兴部门确认金村为2021年省级乡村治理示范村创建对象。[2]

2026年1月，村庄获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
