英村是东城镇下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年英村属两报乡。1960年起称英村大队，1963年又归报头大队，由岗列公社管理。1988年属报头管理区。[1][2]
1989年，阳江撤县设市，英村连同报头管理区一并从江城区岗列镇转入阳东区东城镇。两年后（1991年）它与报头分开，单设英村管理区。1999年改称英村村委会。[1][2]
文化[edit]
2021年12月，英村村委会辖下的上敖村获确定为阳江市卫生村（2021年度）。[2]
