报平村是东城镇下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区，邻近阳江市区，始兴路、新江台路和湖滨路等干道穿村而过。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，明嘉靖四年（1525年）先祖陈仲述迁居此地定居。[3]
建国初期，村里以农会取代了保长。1958年报平隶属超美人民公社的两报乡，1959年转入岗列人民公社，成为报平生产大队，1987年改称报平管理区。[1][2]
阳江于1988年改设地级市，报平仍归江城区岗列镇。1989年3月起，它转归阳东区东城镇。阳东1991年设县后，报平仍由东城镇所辖。1999年设报平村委会，沿用至今。[1][2]
经济[edit]
据百度百科，2018年村集体收入只有20万元。此后村里利用闲置的留用地，兴办了新能源汽车城和报平市场，预计2024年村集体收入将超过460万元。[3]
文化[edit]
2020年，报平村获得广东省乡村治理示范村称号。此后还获授阳江市先进基层党组织称号（2021年）。[3] 2026年1月，村庄获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
