城东街道是广东省阳江市江城区下辖的街道[2]，因地处阳江市区东面而得名。[1]

博雅地名网载其辖区面积约36.51平方千米，下辖5个社区和2个行政村。第七次全国人口普查结果公布后，2021年6月博雅地名网记其人口约8.05万人，在江城区各街道乡镇中居第4位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时这一带属长乐乡的郡台都。1949年末划归县城一带管辖。1958年后半年，它先归超美公社，年底又转入江城公社；此后被划给岗列公社，又在江城镇与江城公社之间来回调整，直到1972年7月才重新并入江城镇。[1]

1983年12月，它改称六区街道办事处，仍隶属江城镇。1988年1月28日设为城东街道，归阳江市江城区管辖。2006年8月31日的街道区划调整中，广场居民委员会被划出。[1]
