长江村位于东源县锡场镇境内，属行政村。村名的来历与江姓有关：此地位于旧长江区域的中心，江氏是最早在此定居的人家，村委会机构则设在长江自然村[3]。2024年3月，该村获认定为2023年广东省卫生村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这里先是长江大队的所在，1983年由大队改为乡，1987年转为管理区；1999年才设立长江村委会[2]。
