老围村位于东源县船塘镇，村名来自村中主体房屋——明朝中期所建的大围龙屋[1]。村内留有「东江华侨回乡抗日服务团船塘老围活动旧址」、「船塘老围保卫战遗址」和「萝溪书院遗址」等革命史迹与文物[1][3][4][5]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子经历了老围大队（1958年）、老围乡（1983年）、老围管理区（1987年）等阶段，1999年东源县政府同意设立老围村民委员会[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

1939年4月，东江华侨回乡抗日服务团第五分团派出的一个活动小组来到老围，住在焕文小学内（该校原为祠堂）。小组以船塘为据点，在周边圩镇农村开展抗日宣传和办学，「东江华侨回乡抗日服务团船塘老围活动旧址」即这一活动的旧址[3]。

「船塘老围保卫战遗址」记录了1946年和1948年的两次围攻。1946年2月2日（农历除夕），敌军数百人围攻老围村，党员欧阳璞牺牲。1948年农历七月，国民党军一营兵力300多人再次围攻，村中民兵和群众关好四处村门，据守抵御，攻不破村门[4]。

「萝溪书院遗址」建于清道光十年（1830年），为河源市文物保护单位。博雅地名网的一页说它位于村西，另一页则作老围赤岭村[5][6]。

文化[edit]

2019年10月，老围村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录[1]。河源市文明委在2021年1月授予老围村「2020年度河源市文明村」称号[1]。广东省乡村振兴局于2022年1月把老围村确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]。

经济[edit]

2023年，驻船塘镇帮扶工作队大力推动老围村的鲈鱼养殖项目，为该项目安排了100万元的驻镇帮镇扶村资金[2]。
