历史沿革[edit]
该村最早称榴石，因村中石榴子树出名。后来李田村的小溪穿村而过，水清见底、能看到石头，遂改名流石。先是流石大队（1958年），继为流石乡（1983年）与流石管理区（1987年），1999年东源县政府同意设立流石村委会[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
「中共九连工委扩大会议旧址」位于白竹坑的龙颈一带。当年6月，中共九连工委在这里开会，决定把中共九连地方工作委员会改组为中共九连地方委员会，并统一整编九连地区武装。会议被认为是河西地区恢复武装斗争以来最重要的会议之一[2]。
文化[edit]
2021年12月，流石村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号[1]。
