澄村村是东水镇下辖的行政村。博雅地名网以村子旧时有一棵橙子树为村名由来，其页面题作成村村，本条目沿用数据库中的名称。该村有清代宗族建筑广文第，列入和平县第二批历史建筑。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国二十年，澄村属董源乡（保）。1941年以后归东水乡，解放初仍然。1952年改隶桥源乡，1958年归桥源管理区。1962年设澄村大队，1983年为澄村乡，1987年又称澄村管理区办事处，1999年5月起称澄村村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

2022年6月，和平县人民政府办公室公布第二批历史建筑名单，东水镇澄村的广文第列于其中，属清代的宗族建筑。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2025年5月，该村被授予「2022年度和平县文明村镇」称号。[1]
