上坝村是东水镇下辖的行政村，位于东水镇街道的上方，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国二十年，上坝归大坝乡（保）。1941年至解放初改属东水乡，1952年又回到大坝乡。1962年成立上坝大队，1987年改为上坝管理区办事处，1999年起设上坝村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

和平县革命文物线索清单列有东江游击队地下交通站，地点在东水镇上坝村尾会稽同源屋，列为未定级。[2]

经济[edit]

县政府网站提到，东水镇计划在上坝村建设乡村体验园、美术写生基地、民宿和民俗博物馆，以发展农业观光。[3]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，上坝村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。河源市文明委于2021年1月授予上坝村「2020年度河源市文明村」称号。广东省爱卫会于2021年12月授予上坝村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
