莫丰村是东水镇下辖的行政村，村名取丰收的寓意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年土地改革后设立马增乡，下辖中心、莫丰、增坑三村。1955年马增乡办初级社，次年改为高级社。1962年马增乡分设为文新、中心、莫塘、增坑、力行数村；1964年莫塘、增坑、力行并为莫丰大队。1987年莫丰乡改称莫丰管理区，1993年分为莫丰、增坑两个管理区。1999年设立莫丰村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱卫会在2021年12月把「2021年广东省卫生村」称号授予莫丰村。[1]
