小灰村是上坪镇的行政村。村名的来历与当地的雾气有关：旧时村子人口少、林木茂密，春季多雾雨，人们把雾称为“灰”，盼望云雾早散，便取名小灰村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，小灰与双富合设村政府，1953年设乡政府。1957年与双富分设管区，1958年改为大队，1983年又与双富同属双富乡人民政府。1986年起为村委会，1989年一度改为管理区，1999年重设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予村庄“2022年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
