儒南村位于通衢镇，城乡分类属村庄。村名由两个自然村合成：儒南坝和南坑尾，两地各取一字，合为儒南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，村名为儒南，隶属梅城乡。1958年起称儒南生产大队；1968年冬设革命委员会，1977年回到大队，1983年改设儒南乡。1986年成立村委会，1988年为管理区，1999年又设村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱卫会在2023年5月确认儒南村为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
