华城村位于通衢镇，城乡分类属村庄。明弘治十七年（1504年）有人在田心屯筑起城堡，新中国成立后，这一屯落改名华城。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年以前，该地隶属鹤市区华新乡。1952年8月，它改称华城乡，隶属通衢区。1958年10月，区制取消、改行公社制，此地成为鹤市人民公社下的华城管理区；1959年又改为通衢人民公社的华城生产大队。1983年复称华城乡，1986年设村委会，1989年成为华城管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，华城村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2019年10月，村子入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；2021年4月，获得「2020年度龙川县文明村镇」称号。[1]
