历史沿革[edit]
1949年6月，该地属县第二区，所辖为何屋、曾屋两村。1951年设县四区玳瑁乡，其中包括今天的玳瑁与玳峰两村。1958年称鹤市公社玳瑁管理区，次年改属通衢公社。1963年分为玳瑁、玳峰两个大队；1978年4月隶属锦归公社，成为玳瑁大队。1983年12月改称锦归区玳瑁乡，太楼并入其中；1987年4月太楼分出，玳瑁仍设村委会。1989年成为管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
2024年，玳瑁村先后三轮进行宅基地择位竞价，共16块地块成交，项目选址面积约9600平方米，计划集中建设30套新农房。村里还在建设“富民工坊”，让村民在家门口就业。[2]
深圳对口帮扶河源的指挥部（简称深河指挥部）把玳瑁村列为支持对象之一，资助该村集中建房项目的基础设施建设。[3]
文化[edit]
河源市文明委于2021年1月把「2020年度河源市文明村」称号给了玳瑁村。广东省爱卫会在2023年5月确认玳瑁村为「2022年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，村子被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
