历史沿革[edit]

1953年设乡时，此地隶属雅寄乡，称永新小乡；1958年并入鹤市公社，改称新北大队；1976年归紫市公社。[1]1984年由社改区，设新北乡；1987年改为村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年重设村委会。[1]

荣誉与近年情况[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予了新北村。[1]

2023年，镇政府报告称新北村的村集体收入已达当年预计的最高额度。[2]
