民乐东村是紫市镇的行政村之一。建国初设乡政府时，此地山清水秀、河流交错、民风淳朴，后分为东西两村，因其在东边而称民乐东村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地的建置始于1952年7月：龙川县划区并乡，设民乐小乡。1976年11月公社规模调整，民乐小乡的地域被拆分给民乐、船亨、博丰、嶂红四个大队。[3]
1980年11月改为区公所体制后，下设管理区与乡，民乐东乡、民乐西乡由此分立。1984年社改区，原博丰大队与塘角大队组成民乐东乡；1986年建村委会，1989年两地分别设博丰、塘角管理区。[3]
1999年，博丰与塘角各设村委会；2004年经龙川县人民政府批准，两者都并入民乐东村委会。[3]
荣誉与近年情况[edit]
2019年9月，民乐东村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
2023年，民乐东村集体经济收入为61.31万元，居全镇第一。[2]
