历史沿革[edit]

龙鸣村的建置依次为：龙径大队（1958年）、龙径乡（1983年）、龙鸣管理区（1987年）、龙鸣村委会（1999年）。2009年乌石镇并入紫城镇，村随之成为紫城镇辖村。[1]

据说此处地形像一条龙在鸣叫，故名龙鸣。[2]
