罗塘村在埔前镇东北，紧邻东江，离镇政府7公里，总面积3.2平方公里。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村在东江边，水塘里田螺多，原叫“螺塘”，后写作罗塘。[4]1976年，罗塘自泥金大队析出，另成大队；1982年建乡，1987年起设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年区撤，村委会延续至今。[3]

村情[edit]

全村413户1589人，耕作面积1380亩，其中水田500亩、旱地880亩。村民收入靠进厂务工和同河源温氏合作养鸡；村集体较稳定的收入是织染厂与果场交来的管理费，一年1.6万元。村民2018年人均收入为9300元。[2]
