铁炉村是陆丰市潭西镇东面的行政村，位于螺河西堤、通往上英镇的公路西侧，面积8平方千米，辖2个自然村、4个村民小组，据博雅地名网总人口3580人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

土地改革时村属二区的铁广乡，1966年才从铁广大队分出、另立铁炉大队。以后依次是铁炉乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1994年）、再度村委会（1999年）。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村在平原上，约三分之一的村民外出务工或经商，留村的人种稻、红薯和花生，并养鱼。[1]

2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
