沙溪村在行政上归广东省汕尾市陆丰市南塘镇管辖，是镇内24个行政村委会之一[1]。2023年5月，获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

沙溪1975年是东桥公社的沙溪大队；1983年东桥公社撤销，与汤湖大队合并，设南塘区汤湖乡。1987年4月，沙溪脱离汤湖村委会，独立设村委会；1994年重新并入汤湖管理区；2009年再从汤湖析出，设沙溪村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载的村情，沙溪村在南塘镇北部，离陆城约26公里，只有一个村小组，520户、3098人，耕地3500亩，水田1200亩；该页称它在内湖、陂洋和铜锣湖农场的交界处，是镇内最偏远的村[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

沙溪温泉景区因在沙溪村而得名，博雅地名网称温泉发源于九岛山脉，日出水量1500立方米[1]。陆丰市人民政府的页面也把沙溪温泉列为南塘镇的景点[2]。
