沙溪村在沙溪镇东北角，村委会设在沙溪村，距曲江县城约12公里。[1]这里离京珠高速公路沙溪出口约2公里，邻近南华寺。[1]全村分19个村民小组，小组包括沙溪、街心、映子、麻坝子、溪背、上李等。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月曲江县人民政府成立后，这里设沙溪乡政府，归第一区；村级政权始于1951年5月，名沙溪村政府；1952年3月又改称沙溪乡，归马坝区。[1]人民公社时期，沙溪为沙溪公社下的沙溪大队（1961年3月）。撤社建乡在1983年11月，1986年12月定名沙溪村委会；其间曾有一段叫沙溪管理区（自1989年），1998年12月再改回村委会，沿用至今。[1]
