大安社区是广东省汕尾市陆丰市大安镇镇区所在的社区，居民以非农业人口为主，在建制上由1962年的大安居民区演变而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

社区所在的老街，各寨门、巷门的名称都带“安”字，人们解释为“大家安居乐业”，大安之名由此而来，后来也成了全镇的名字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年人民公社体制下放，镇上的非农业人口被划为一个居民区，归大安公社管理。[1]此后名称屡改：1983年建大安镇，隶大安区；1987年起称大安居委会；1994年一度叫大安管理区；1999年恢复居委会之名；2002年定为大安社区居委会，沿用至今。[1]
