欧西村在螺溪镇西南部，距镇政府约3.6公里，以青梅和佛手香橼种植见长。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

欧西起初与欧东、欧田同属欧田大队，1961年曾分出，1973年三地各自成队；改革后的机构几经更名，到1999年定为欧西村民委员会。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

村域6.5平方千米，辖珠岭下、七径、山俄、子背、甜栏5个自然村，410多户，户籍人口1900多人。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村民流转土地种青梅和佛手香橼，推行“党支部+企业+合作社+农户”模式，2021年村集体经济收入24万多元；2020年乡贤和村民捐资500万元，把4.1公里村道铺成沥青路面，并建起文化广场和珠岭广场。[1]2020年8月，欧西村入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（佛手果）。[2]此外，省卫生村、省民主法治村、汕尾市和陆河县的文明村称号也都属于该村。[1]
