螺溪社区是陆河县螺溪镇的镇中心社区，也是镇政府驻地，居委会设在日角圩，2002年成立。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区名称来自西边一条自北向南蜿蜒、形如田螺的溪流；1999年改称螺溪社区居委会，沿用至今。[2]
人口[edit]
社区面积约0.3平方千米，分上片、中片、下片，有1300多户居民，户籍人口3150多人，党员48人。[1]
经济[edit]
居民以经商、务工为主，村集体经济薄弱；社区已完成镇圩的升级改造和扩容。[1]
文化[edit]
社区获过广东省卫生社区、广东省民主法治社区称号，2009年获广东省民政厅“六好”平安和谐社区，2015年被评为省科普示范社区（2015至2019年），次年升格为全国科普示范社区。[1]
