螺溪镇是广东省汕尾市陆河县北部山区的一个镇，东面与揭阳市揭西县、西面与河源市紫金县、北面与梅州市五华县交界，南接河田镇和南万镇，是螺河的发源地区。镇政府设在螺溪社区日角圩，管辖15个行政村和1个社区。[1][2][7]

镇内有明代京官叶高标的祖祠五星祠、迴龙寺、白水寨飞瀑、热水坑温泉等景点，种植青梅、李子、橄榄和毛竹，并有数处广东省红色革命遗址。[2][3][8]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网转述，因古时溪中多河螺而得名。[5]新中国成立后这一带先属河田乡；到1959年，河田乡西北的一批村庄被划出，另立螺溪公社；1983年公社改为区，1986年撤区建镇。[5][7]明代时，这里属海丰县吉康都螺溪约，叶高标即出身于此。[9]

地理环境[edit]

镇域属亚热带季风气候，溪流密布，森林覆盖率接近八成。[3]面积各来源不一：县政府网站写作153平方公里，百度百科和博雅地名网则记为144.55平方千米。[1][5][7]镇域内有S238省道通过，乡道和村道共87条，养护里程合计132公里；去甬莞高速的入口要走11公里，去兴汕高速的入口要走19公里。[2]

县政府网站给出的数字是：户籍8860多户、38900多人，常住21800多人；百度百科记2020年末常住人口21804人，博雅地名网据第七次全国人口普查，称其在陆河县各镇中居第5位。[2][5][7]

经济[edit]

农作物以水稻、番薯、土豆、花生为主，水果则有青梅、李子、龙眼、荔枝和香蕉等。[2]近年镇里把党支部、企业、合作社和农户连在一起经营，培育了80多家农业合作社、20多家种养企业，流转土地4.5万亩，青梅、李子、橄榄、油茶和茶叶、矿泉水加工成为特色，陆宝矿泉水和清绿梅制品销往外地，并建有全县第一个农产品展示交易中心。[2]毛竹种植是镇里的另一项大宗，2014年前后的镇政府介绍称种植面积达1687.51公顷，为粤东规模最大的毛竹基地之一。[1]镇境内还建有水电站13座，总装机容量1.1万千瓦。[1]

博雅地名网的概况给出2005年的经济数字：国民经济总产值17242万元，农业8335万元、工业3081万元；农村居民人均纯收入为3888元。[6]

欧田墟每逢正月举行“闹龙”，已延续近二百年：白天迎接螺溪墟的“三架景”巡游，称“围龙”，晚上村民持青竹做的水油筒上山迎“龙”，出嫁的女儿也携夫带子回娘家参加。[4]县级非物质文化遗产名录中，镇内有三奶娘神庙。[3]

荣誉方面，据镇政府介绍，螺溪镇得过的省级称号有固本强基示范镇、文明村镇、生态示范镇、卫生镇、乡村治理示范镇和宜居示范镇。[2]2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把它列为2021年省级乡村治理示范乡镇的创建单位；2023年11月公布的全国乡村治理示范乡镇（第三批）也有螺溪镇。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

五星祠（五星宗祠）在正大村，始建于明万历年间，是叶高标的祖祠，2015年进入第八批省级文物保护单位名单。[8]迴龙寺立于石崖之上，在广洋村境内；白水寨飞瀑在南和村，落差近200米；书村的旱硿为河水潜入石滩的地下河奇观；热水坑温泉和乌橄榄古树群在新溪村。[3]

欧田硁仔里自然村建有华侨城·螺溪谷，由陆河县政府、深圳市坪山区政府和华侨城深东集团三方合作建设，被称为精准扶贫项目，2022年12月成为国家3A级景区。[3][10]新良村赤黎塘的中正楼建于1905年，曾为县级文物保护单位，2020年1月撤销。[11]

县政府网站说，镇内有五处广东省红色革命遗址，分别在各安（红二师无名烈士纪念园）、沥背（嶂下尾烈士纪念碑）、金坑（鸡爪地的纪念亭与农会旧址）和矿隆坝（地下交通站）。[2]

著名人物[edit]

叶高标是螺溪人，生于1593年，卒于1641年，字自根，号大木，崇祯元年（1628年）进士，官至礼部都给事中，曾在京掌管全国粮饷，卒后追赠太常寺少卿。[9]
