北山村处于陆河县新田镇的西端，面积15.7平方千米，与陆丰、海丰两地相邻，省道S335线从村内通过。[1][2]

基本情况[edit]

村情页载，全村林地约2万亩，耕地2214亩（水田1476亩），有5个自然村，543户，户籍人口2797人，常住2083人。[1] 博雅地名网称这里是陆河县重点扶贫工作村，主要收入靠农耕和外出务工。[2]

历史沿革与荣誉[edit]

北山大队从1958年存续到1983年，1986年改称村委会，1999年起称村民委员会。[2] 2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2020年12月获评2020年广东省卫生村；2021年9月以嘉宝果列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[2]
