万山村在水唇镇北部，在省道旁，离镇政府约2公里，下辖山仔下、甲万2个自然村。[1][2][3]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名由下辖的甲万、山仔下各取一个字组成。[3]万山原是黄塘大队的一部分，1980年独立成大队。其后经乡政府（1984年3月）、村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）几个名称，1999年起称万山村民委员会。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

镇政府新介绍称面积8.5平方千米，326户1716人，常住650人；较早的介绍是283户1812人，耕地约660亩、山地约8000亩。[1][2]村里养山地鸡、牛，种火龙果、香蕉、花生，并引进采石场、开办钓鱼场，以增加集体收入。[2][3]2019年9月，万山村列入2018年「广东省‘民主法治示范村（社区）’创建单位」，并得过「广东省卫生村」称号。[2][3]
