冰深村在赤石镇西部，面积20.8平方千米，博雅地名网称它是以农业为主的山区贫困村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1960年代这里属明热农场。1974年从明热大队划出北笏、冰塘埔、横坑三村，又从新里大队划出甘树下，从赤石大队划出走马埔、李厝，合设冰深大队。1984年称赤石冰深乡，1987年称赤石镇新联冰深村委会，1989年改管理办事处，1998年复设冰深村委会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村分李厝、吴厝、甘树下、横坑、北笏、冰塘埔6个村民小组，278户1281人。山地25828.5亩，耕地2380亩，水田不足600亩。主种水稻，兼种葛薯、番薯、柑橘和西番莲，养猪养鸡鸭。村里基础设施薄弱；广东骏丰畜牧发展有限公司投资1.5亿元的生态养殖基地建在冰塘埔。[1]
