洛坑村在赤石镇南部，面积8.5平方千米，村委会驻地离集镇约8公里，广汕公路和深汕高速公路都从村内经过。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历年间立村。1950年属第四区鲘门乡，1958年是圆墩公社的洛坑大队；1960年并入国营圆墩林场，1984年归林场辖下的圆联乡，1987年称圆墩林场洛坑村委会，1989年改管理办事处，1998年复设村委会，2005年起归赤石镇。^[1]

村分洛坑、田坑、牛朗3个村民小组，181户873人；耕地1078亩，山地约1.03万亩。种稻、番薯、葛薯、花生，荔枝为主要果树；海水养殖出虾蟹，养殖面积1400多亩。洛坑水库库容35万立方米。^[1]
