石洲村在梅陇镇区西南部、广汕公路东侧的石洲山下，面积约1.4平方千米，辖石洲村和东寮村，2010年总人口约1624人，耕地约1545亩，以瓜菜生产为主。[1] 苏家麒故居和石洲村农会旧址位于村内；官方名单共列4个自然村，即东寮、中社、西社、东社。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明洪武年间，从潮州、惠来迁来的苏、陈两姓人建立石洲村。1950年属第四区鲘门石南乡，1960年归梅陇公社；1979年从石安大队分出，设石洲大队，1980年一度称梅洲大队；1984年称石洲乡，1987年为石洲村委会，1989年称管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]

文物[edit]

苏家麒故居和石洲村农会旧址均为民国时期的建筑，2022年3月被汕尾市人民政府公布为第三批市级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

石洲村在2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单中；2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
