鸡公桥村是兴宁市龙田镇的行政村，旧名旱窝里，2014年进入第三批中国传统村落，也是肉鸽养殖专业村。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村原名旱窝里。据说约320年前，村中船形屋旁的小河上修了一座桥，桥建成时恰逢公鸡啼晓，桥名鸡公桥，村名随之改了。[1][2]1949年初设鸡公桥农会；1958年为大队；1984年至1987年为乡；1989年9月改管理区，1999年4月复称村委会。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

据百度百科，全村辖16个村民小组，在册305户1155人，总面积约1.03平方公里，耕地453亩。[2]鸡公桥村以肉鸽上了2020年8月公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]

文化与古迹[edit]

鸡公桥被说成是客家杯花舞的发源地。[2]村内的龙和围、龙兴围、龙安围是清代建筑，均为兴宁市县级文物保护单位；[1]另据百度百科，村中还有清嘉庆年间的龙兴围、大夫弟和民国时的峻德堂。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，村子进入「第三批中国传统村落」名录；2017年10月另获“第一批广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
