富强村是兴宁市罗岗镇辖下的行政村。此处曾有二十个村落，以「廿」记数，称廿村，后「廿」被写作「甘」，叫作甘村；建国初期取强盛富裕之意，改名富强。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

清末这里叫甘村。1951年设福胜乡，1957年撤乡并入罗西乡；1958年福胜、富强各立一个大队。此后1978至1983年划归霞岚公社；1989年定名富强管理区，到1999年成立村民委员会，名称沿用至今。[2]
