溪东村是兴宁市罗岗镇辖下的行政村。1964年体制下放时，原溪美大队分成五块，其中一块在溪美河东岸，称溪东。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
1953至1978年，是溪美村下的一个小村，1978至1984年，为溪东大队，1984至1987年，归溪美乡，1989至1999年，为溪东管理区，1999年，改名为溪东村民委员会。[2]
