名称与沿革[edit]

由崇新、里湖两个大队合并而成，各取一字，叫“新里”。[1]建国初的八年间设新里乡；其后二十五年左右（1958至1983年）是大队；1986年起为管理区办事处；1999年改称村委会，名称沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新里村列入「广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
