茶星村是新圩镇辖下的行政村，位于兴宁市南部。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

相传村里曾建“汉寿亭”，备茶水供行人解渴，村子因此叫“茶亭下”，后来改称茶星。[1]清嘉庆十年（1805年）已有“茶亭下”之称；1949年至1957年设乡，1958至1983年称乡政府，1986年起实行管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，茶星村列入「广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
