文裕村在平远县上举镇北部，旧称嘉举、下举，1999年4月更为现名。全村在册358户、1500人，梅菜是特色产业。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间称嘉举社，归第八保，范围含今河东、河西、龙虎、新建。[1]旧时村里办有嘉举小学，村名由此叫嘉举；又因在上举河下游，叫成下举。村民嫌“下举”不雅，要求改名：一来这里原与差干的文西村曾属同一村，取“文”字；二来旧名含“裕”字，二字合为文裕。1999年4月20日，平远县人民政府行文改名。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村在上举镇圩北面约7千米，总面积16.48平方千米，耕地1528.9亩。东邻八社村，西与差干镇的文丰、文西两村交界，南接龙文、上举两村，北与差干镇差干、湍溪两村相邻。[2]年均气温23℃，年降雨量约1680毫米。[1]境内有稀土、珍珠岩等矿产，下举河下游建有电站。[2]

经济[edit]

农事安排是春季烤烟、仙人草，秋季水稻、甜玉米，冬季梅菜；上一年农村经济总收入630万元（博雅地名网）。[1]梅菜以“企业+合作社+农户”方式经营。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，列入省民主法治示范村（社区）2018年创建单位。2020年8月，省农业农村厅公布首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，文裕村以梅菜入选。[1]
