历史沿革[edit]
村子原叫“龙背骑”，音近“牛背骑”。1936年，江西人廖日奎在村里办了一所小学，取名龙文学校，村名由此而来。[1]1975年龙文归入上举，编为龙文生产大队，后来变成（小）乡、村民委员会、管理区，1999年再用村民委员会之名。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域面积约7.68平方千米，耕地500.2亩。东邻上举村，西接仁居镇畲溪村，南连畲脑村，北与文裕村交界。[1][3]气温年均23℃，雨量年约1600毫米。[1]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科载，居民有廖、张、林、肖、丘几姓，皆汉族，说客家话；下分龙一、龙二、龙三、柘园、赤大5个小组，共5个自然村。[3]
经济[edit]
主要作物有烤烟、水稻、油茶、梅菜和脐橙，油茶与姜是特色收入；也养蜂、种三华李。上一年农村经济总收入218万元（博雅地名网）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年3月，名列第六批广东省古村落；这年9月，又在省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位的2018年名单中。[1]
