畲脑村在平远县上举镇西南部，山区村，森林覆盖率95%，2013年列入第二批中国传统村落名录，村内有相思谷景区。辖13个村民小组，在册448户、1646人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自旧时畲族人聚居于山岭高处。[1]1925年前后村里办过铸锅厂，借“畲脑”的谐音取名华宝锅厂，村名一度改为华宝，1965年恢复原名。此村原归东石管辖，1975年改隶上举，成为畲脑生产大队，之后依次改为（小）乡、村民委员会、管理区，1999年又称村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村在上举镇圩南面约4.3千米，东与上举村交界，西、北面与仁居镇相邻，南接东石镇，总面积约27.2平方千米。[3]地势高，气温偏低，水源多，当地有“有被无袄不敢上畲脑”和“畲脑山高，有水唱歌”的说法。[3]年平均气温22℃，年降雨量约1700毫米。[1]

经济[edit]

主要经济作物为脐橙、烤烟、水稻和灵芝，耕地1895.8亩；博雅地名网载上一年农村经济总收入691.32万元。[1]

文化[edit]

村里保留成片的客家围龙屋，还流传客家民居营造、手工艺和小吃等民俗；围龙屋、平远船灯、平远黄粄和传统榨油等，分属3项省级、8项市级、16项县级非物质文化遗产项目。[1]村内峡谷、瀑布与传统民居合成相思谷景区，景区打出“红豆林·峡谷情·森呼吸·枫景林”的旅游品牌。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村里的荣誉按时间排：2013年8月进入中国传统村落第二批名录；2014年10月被农业部评为当年的中国最美休闲乡村；2019年12月入选首批国家森林乡村；2021年12月，民政部办公厅确认其为议事协商创新实验的全国试点单位（村级）；2022年8月，成为省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位；2026年1月，列入省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[2]
