罗塘村属梅州市五华县河东镇管辖，是镇内的一个行政村[1]。博雅地名网所载村情介绍（未注年份）称，该村分8个村民小组，在册192户，人口1128人，耕地约989亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据村情介绍，明代初年，罗、李两姓来到这里占地立庄。新中国成立初它属第十区桂岭乡；1958年8月为平南乡罗塘村；公社化时并入水寨人民公社的平东大队；1976年7月1日，从平东大队分出，成为平南公社罗塘大队；此后1983年设乡，1989年设管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]
